upstairs is a mobile drop-in center for young people in need. Your donation enables us to provide rapid assistance—with food, clothing, a safe place to sleep, counseling, and support.

Equal opportunities at the start of school
This program supports first graders as they start elementary school—individually, preventively, and appreciatively. Your donation strengthens self-confidence and social skills and eases the transition into a new phase of life.

Painting time
For people with dementia, painting acts as a bridge. Their inner images find a way out again. The painting program is aimed at residents of EVIM senior centers.

"Radiance on large canvases" was the headline of an article in the Wiesbadener Kurier newspaper about an exhibition by a group of artists who have been meeting regularly in their studio for more than 20 years and also paint outdoors.

Finally arrived. Now it's time to find your feet in your new surroundings and culture. With a mentor by your side, you immediately feel a little less like a stranger.
Boards that mean the world
"Tell me, my beauty!" – a theater tour by the group "Un_vorstellbar" based on the stories from One Thousand and One Nights about thieves, ghosts, and other human beings.
Silver Surfers
A Sudoku puzzle after breakfast, playing memory with your grandchild, or a round of bowling with friends. Even in retirement homes, modern technology is used with joy and curiosity.
Music therapy
Music penetrates forgetfulness; suddenly, the words to the melody return and are sung along with the music. Music therapy touches deep-seated memories.
