The Stage That Means the World

We all have talents and creativity within us. This is especially true for people with disabilities. Bringing these hidden treasures to light is the main mission of the cultural programs at EVIM Teilhabe.

EVIM offers a wide range of activities: painting studios and art workshops, dance and theater groups, and its own band all invite participants to join in. Here, people with disabilities can discover entirely new sides of themselves in a playful way.

The cultural projects of EVIM Participation

Learning Through Play

The regular rehearsals lift people’s spirits and give them new courage to overcome difficulties. Some go above and beyond, while others may even feel a bit nervous about their own courage right before the performance. Plus, it’s just fun to put on a show together with others and enjoy the audience’s applause.

Theater Unimaginable

At the “Un_vorstellbar” theater, run by EVIM Teilhabe, a wide variety of theater, dance, movement, and music groups from different organizations come together to participate in project-based activities under the guidance of professionals. The passionate amateur performers are all individuals with various disabilities.

They rehearse alongside professional actors and musicians and present the plays to the public. These performances are often unconventional. They reflect the talents of the performers and take everyone involved—as well as the audience—on a journey to new horizons.
