A St. Nicholas Day coffee that opens doors

On December 3, 2025, we were once again invited to attend the St. Nicholas Coffee event hosted by Clariant Produkte (Deutschland) GmbH at the Höchst Industrial Park. The invitation built on the wonderful experience of the previous year and once again created an atmosphere marked by warmth, interest, and mutual appreciation. This

year, too, Clariant’s employees welcomed us in a festive atmosphere. Over coffee, cake, and many personal conversations, we were able to present our work at Schlockerhof and engage with many people on-site. The interactions were open and welcoming, making it clear just how deeply social engagement is rooted in the company.

Part of the afternoon was dedicated to showcasing our products from the garden center, bakery, and day care center. Our candles, cookies, stollen, cinnamon rolls, and breads were very well-received and accepted with great enthusiasm. We are particularly pleased about the generous donation from the staff totaling 780 euros, as well as additional tips amounting to 80 euros. This support directly benefits our work.

The donation and tips will go to the Schlockerhof day support center. There, we support people with disabilities who, due to the nature of their impairment, cannot—or are not yet able to—work in the workshop. The day care center offers social participation, individual support, and learning opportunities. The goal is to provide security in daily life, strengthen perceptions, and introduce participants to simple tasks. Additionally, the program aims to facilitate the first steps toward workshop participation. Activities outside the day care center are also part of this and open up new experiences within the community.
