Leo Club Fundraiser for upstairs

Through a fundraising campaign at the Wiesbaden Sternschnuppenmarkt, the Leo Club’s youth organization worked hard to raise money before Christmas for EVIM Jugendhilfe’s “upstairs” project.

Think of others! “Those who help people who are less fortunate gain important personal experiences.” This is an important insight that the Lions’ youth organization—known as “Leos”—puts into practice here in Wiesbaden as well. Social commitment, responsibility, community, and a large network—that’s what the Leo Club stands for.

Money was once again diligently raised before Christmas through a fundraiser at the Sternschnuppenmarkt in Wiesbaden. This time, upstairs was delighted to receive a check for 300 euros to support its work with young people in need. Patrick Lahr, regional director of EVIM Youth Services, emphasized once again during the on-site visit that upstairs operates solely on donations, enabling it to provide help quickly and without red tape.
