Blood and Heart: Aareal Bank Employees Make Double Donations to upstairs

This is the second time that upstairs has received a donation from the staff of Aareal Bank in Wiesbaden. For several years now, the bank’s employees have been donating blood and pooling the compensation they receive, which they then pass on to two selected nonprofit organizations in the Wiesbaden region. This ongoing support demonstrates Aareal Bank’s strong sense of social responsibility, its connection to the region, and its commitment to the community. Through this fundraising campaign, Aareal Bank’s employees are once again showing how individual contributions can add up to something greater and bring about lasting positive change.

The donation ceremony took place on May 23, 2024, at the bank’s offices. Representing Aareal Bank at the ceremony were Ms. Greiss and Mr. Schmidt from Human Resources, who presented the donation of 406 euros. Representing EVIM were Patrick Lahr and Truc-Quynh Vo from EVIM Youth Services, as well as Dieter Nühlen, who is responsible for fundraising. The EVIM representatives expressed their heartfelt thanks for the generous donation and emphasized how important this support is for the continuation and further development of “upstairs,” the mobile drop-in center for young people in need. The donation will help further expand the “upstairs” aid project and open up new opportunities and prospects for the young people receiving support. Especially in times when financial resources are often scarce, such donations are a valuable resource for implementing the necessary aid measures and programs. Thank you very much for your support.
