The Wish Tree Fulfills Christmas Wishes
Customers at Globus Wiesbaden Nordenstadt fulfilled the wishes of children and teenagers participating in EVIM Youth Services programs. The gifts were delivered in time for Christmas.
In 2025, a Christmas wish tree was once again set up in the entrance area of Globus Wiesbaden Nordenstadt in aid of EVIM Jugendhilfe. The campaign has been part of the store's pre-Christmas season for years and is aimed at children and young people from various care facilities.
The young people wrote down their personal wishes on prepared cards. In addition to practical items such as clothing and school supplies, these included games, fan merchandise, and small leisure items. Customers could select a card, purchase the corresponding gift, and drop it off at the store.
The cards were snapped up in no time. Many visitors spontaneously took part in the shopping and fulfilled a wish. The gifts were then collected at the store and prepared for delivery.
A few days before Christmas, EVIM Jugendhilfe employees picked up the packages and brought them to the respective groups and families. There, they were distributed in time for the holidays.
Thanks to this campaign, numerous children and young people received a personal gift that would otherwise often not have been possible. EVIM Jugendhilfe would like to thank the customers and the team at Globus Wiesbaden Nordenstadt for their continued support. (dn)
